Humanly Possible: Immunization for all

Celebrating immunization and investing in a future where vaccinating every child is #HumanlyPossible.
Think of a person. Not someone you know. Someone you’ve never met. Picture them on the other side of the world, somewhere you’ve never been.
You share one of humanity’s greatest achievements: immunization. Because like you, they’ve had their childhood vaccines.
In the last 50 years alone, vaccines have saved 154 million lives. That’s 6 people every minute, for five decades.
Governments, aid agencies, thousands of people, from scientists and healthcare workers to diplomats and volunteers, got us to where we are today: a world where we’ve eradicated smallpox and almost eradicated polio; a world where more children than ever before in history live to see their fifth birthday. And although you probably don’t remember the exact moment it happened, you are part of this story. Because by being immunized, you have helped to protect others, just as they help to protect you.
But we need your help again. In 2024, vaccines need urgent funding, so we’re calling on governments everywhere to prioritize investment in immunization. With your voice, we can reach every child, no matter who they are or where they live.
Let’s protect humanity’s greatest achievement, because no child should die of an illness we know how to prevent.
Just imagine, a future without cervical cancer. A future without polio or malaria. We’ve done it before. We can do it again. Let’s show the world what’s #HumanlyPossible
